1877 The varnish business was established which later became Docker Brothers

1881 William Docker 23, varnish manufacturer (master), lived in Deritend with Margaret A. Docker 23[1]

1891 A varnish manufacturer, lodging in Spondon, with Margaret Docker 31[2]

By 1901 William seems to have left the Docker Brothers partnership[3]

1911 Living in Sheffield, on private means[4]
