1851 Living at London Street, Norwich: William S. Boulton (age 30 born Staffordshire), Ironmonger employing 11? men and 6 boys. With Mary Boulton (age 50 born Worcestershire). One lodger and one servant.[1]

1859 Married in Norwich to Helen Mary Gertrude Stedman

1861 Living at The Crescent, Norwich: William S. Boulton (age 40 born Bromwich), Ironmonger employing 26 hands. With his wife Helen G. Boulton (age 24 born Kilhoughton, Suffolk). Two servants.[2]
