1878 The firm received diplomas of merit at the Paris World's Fair and a prize medal at the London International Exhibition in 1884 for the quality of their blended whisky

1897 The Glendullan Distillery was built, the last of seven distilleries built in Dufftown

1899 The business was incorporated as a limited company, William Williams and Sons Limited

1918 Acquired Greenlees Brothers.[1]
