c.1801 Born in Ufford, Suffolk[1]

1824 Married Sarah Thrower in Ufford[2]

1841 William Worby 40, bricklayer, lived in Ipswich with Sarah Worby 40, Ellen Worby 14, Susan Worby 11, Sarah Worby 8[3]

1851 William Worby 49, bricklayer and manager of the Orwell Iron Works, he firm employing 757 men and 100 boys, Sarah Worby 51, Sarah Worby 18[4]

1857 With John fowler, Junior developed a ploughing machine
