Millwrights and engineers, of E Sciennes Street, Edinburgh

By 1832 William Bertram was a millwright in Edinburgh; living and having a shop in Sciennes St, Edinburgh[1]

1856 The firm of William and George Bertram, millwrights and engineers of Sciennes, was dissolved in respect of William Bertram; the business was carried on by George Bertram[2]

Early 1930s the 2 firms - W. and G. Bertram and James Bertram and Son - came to a joint working arrangement.
