Worsham Blanket Co
1903 George Howitt married the daughter of Edward Cadbury, the chocolate manufacturer. Cadbury's wedding present to the couple was a substantial financial interest in Worsham Mill, implying that Pritchett and Webley had been in need of financial assistance for some time before they ceased trading.
After Pritchett and Webley ceased blanket making just before the First World War, Worsham Mill was taken over by George Howitt.
WWI Howitt sold the mill to Norman E. Minty for £1000. Initially Minty turned production over to tent-making
Post-WWI: when demand for tents died out after the war Minty founded the Worsham Blanket Company.
The company had very little success, and sold out to Marriott and Sons in 1924.
