1902 Crystal Palace Trials and Races
April Motorcycle Consumption and Hill Climb
A contest organised by the Automobile Club for motorcycle up to 2.75 hp. There were 23 entries but just 15 competitors took part. The event included 20 miles on the track and three ascents of Rock Hill - 800 yards long with a maximum gradient of 1 in 6.5.
Competitors included:

- B. Yates on a 2 hp Humber
- T. B. Andre on a 1.25 hp Derby
- E. Perks on a 2.25 hp Singer tricycle
- H. Martin on a 2.75 hp Excelsior bicycle
- A. J. Nixon on a 1.75 hp Hewetson bicycle
- E. H. Arnott on a 1.75 hp Werner bicycle
- C. R. Abbott on a 2.125 hp Stretton bicycle
- W. Parry on a 1.5 hp Minerva bicycle
- J. C. Nixon on a 1.25 hp UMJ bicycle
- G. V. Rogers on a 2 hp Mitchell
- A. Westlake on 1 2.5 hp Chapelle
- A. C. Wright on a 1.75 hp Ormonde
- J. J. Leonard on a 1.25 hp Werner
- B. Gates
- E. Perks
