1909 Auto-Cycle Union Trial - April

Quarterly Trial.[1]
In the Auto-Cycle Union quarterly trial Saturday, starting from Uxbridge for a run over the 125 miles course with Banbury as the midway halt, the following made non-stop runs
- E. A. Colliver (3.5 h-p. Triumph),
- Eli Clark (2.75 h.p. Douglas),
- W. Wilson Douglas (2.75 h.p. Douglas),
- O. C. Godfrey (3.5 h.p. Rex).
- F. A. Appleby (3.5 h.p. Rex).
- W. Cooper (3.5 h.p. Triumph),
- W. H. Ellison (1.25 h.p, Motosacoche),
- F. McNab (3.5 h.p. Triumph).
- W. Smith (2 h.p. Moto-Reve),
- G. E. Stanley (3.5 h.p. Premier)
- J. Marshall (3.5 h.p. Triumph).
- R. J. Bell (3.5 h.p. N.S.U.).
- J. V. Robinson (2.75 h.p. Douglas) and
- A. G. Fenn (7 h.p. Bat).
- G. N. Higgs (5-6 h.p. A.C. tricar) and
- F. Eagles (6 h.p. N.S.U. and sidecar) made non-stop runs the passenger class.
