Ajax (France)
of Briscoe Freres, France
1913 Ajax was a light cycle car made in France by the Briscoe company under Benjamin Briscoe, one of the leaders of the American automobile industry, who was for some years connected with the Maxwell-Briscoe car. The new vehicle would be low cost as a result of the design and from the large scale of manufacture. A simple friction drive was used from a four-cylinder engine.
