c.1968 ICI sold its share in Imperial Aluminium Co. As a result Aluminum Company of America then owned 75 percent and Elektrokemisk (Elkem) of Norway the other 25 percent.

1969 The name of Imperial Aluminium Co was changed to Alcoa of Great Britain[1]

1969 Plans announced by the company for a major new aluminium rolling mill in Britain[2]

1971 Alcoa Manufacturing (G.B.) Limited (formerly Imperial Aluminium Company (Wales) Limited) of Waunarlwydd Works, P.O. Box 68, Swansea[3]

1987 In liquidation; previous names Almin Ltd, Imperial Aluminium Co[4]
