1895 'Alexander Clifford Crighton is appointed under Covenant, Assistant Locomotive Superintendent in class III, grade 4 of the Superior Revenue establishment of State Railways for employment on the Eastern Bengal State Railway'[1]

1939 Living at Rock House, Wellington, Somerset; Charles Crighton (born 1868) Mechanical Engineer, Retired. With Alexander C. Crighton (born 1870) Mechanical Engineer, Retired. and Flora Crighton.[2]
