Alexander George Ionides was born in 1870 and educated at Harrow and Cambridge.
He commenced his engineering career with the Brush Electrical Engineering Company and later commenced in business on his own account as a Consulting Engineer.
He died on 2nd February, 1945, at the age of 75.
He was elected a Member in 1910.
