Anderman and Ryder

1934 Formed by H. B. Anderman and L. A. Ryder. The office was based in Tooley Street, London SE1. The Company was a Provisions supplier mainly importing eggs from Europe.

1947 Anderman and Co formed. Specialised in importing technical ceramics for household appliances and later expanded to laboratory porcelain, glassware, pyrometer sheaths and furnace tubes.

1954 Anderman and Ryder started a small technical ceramics factory in East Molesey producing Alumina products. With the introduction of the next generation family, Stephen Anderman, the business began to take an active interest in the field of technical ceramics.

1982 Acquired by Morgan Crucible Co
