Engineering Training with the Electric Construction Co., Ltd., of Wolverhampton.

Appointed Assistant Engineer to the Public Works Department of the Nigerian Government

Chief Engineer of the Nova Ernpreza Luz Electrica, Maceio, Brazil

Engineer and Manager of the Madeira Electric Lighting and Power (1909) Co., Ltd., Funchal, Madeira.

Joined the G.P.O. in connection with the original scheme for the Imperial Wireless Chain.

1915 Transferred to the Admiralty in connection with Wireless Telegraphy Engineering.

1915-17 Engaged in inspecting and reporting on Wireless Telegraphy Stations abroad.

By 1925 Head of the Wireless Shore Station Division of H.M. Signal School, Portsmouth.
