1965 Started as a computer service bureau

1969 Kode International of Japan proposed to acquire the company but the deal fell through[1]

The company became distributor for a 16-bit micro-computer made by Victor Technology of USA

1980 Applied for listing of its shares on the Stock market.

1983 Planned to launch a new micro-computer called Apricot which would be made at a new factory in Glenrothes[2]

1985 The computer range covered 14 different models but this was cut to 7 when the company continued to make losses. Name changed to Apricot Computers
