Apricot Computers

From Graces Guide

Maker of personal computers

1985 Apricot Computers plc was incorporated; the computer had previously been known as Applied Computer Techniques and also supplied computer services.

1990 Apricot Computers sold its hardware business to Mitsubishi Electric; the company would concentrate on software and services and changed its name to ACT Group[1]

1998 Mitsubishi withdrew from the personal computer business, so the name Apricot disappeared[2]
