1881 Living at Parkers Well House, Topsham Road, Exeter: William Brock (age 35 born Exeter), Draper. With his wife Caroline Brock (age 36 born Trowbridge), four daughters and sons William Brock (age 7 born Exeter) and Arthur E. Brock (age 1 born Exeter). [1]

1907 Married at Exeter to Winifred May Pulsford

1911 Living at Zyma, West Avenue, Exeter: Arthur E. Brock (age 32 born Exeter), Furniture Manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Winnie M. Brock and daughter Betty.[2]

1914 Died. 'We regret to announce the death of Mr. William Brock, the senior Justice of the Peace for Exeter, and the principal of the well-known firm of Messrs. W. Brock and Co., of Exeter and Torquay, wholesale and warehousemen and general furnishers. which occurred early this morning. Deceased, who resided at Parker's Well, was highly esteemed, and enjoyed the friendship a large of citizens. Mr. Brock's father who was a partner in the firm then known as "Wilcocks, Wrentmore, and Brock," died when Mr. W. Brock was young, but as soon the latter became age, he succeeded his father in the firm. Mr. Brock took an active part in the business for many years. Latterly had practically retired, and entrusted the direction of the firm to his two sons, Messrs. W. and A. E. Brock, with able heads of the various departments...'[3]
