1904 Company formed by George Heaton Dugard and William Henry Dugard, to provide capacity greater than available in their existing plant, largely for making turbine blading; this company made the blading for the RMS Mauretania and RMS Lusitania and other steamships.
Made the 'Victor' chain with a figure-of-eight link. Also did metal rolling.
c.1904 William Henry Williams became managing director
1912 New factory at Bromford Lane, Erdington, Birmingham.
1913 Added a casting shop
WWI Made submarine blading
1937 Employing around 500 persons
1957 The family-run business was acquired by Enfield Rolling Mills[1]
1963 Enfield Rolling Mills became part of Delta Metal Co
