BSA Metal Powders

Its products included nickel, cobalt and copper based alloy powders. They are used in a number of engineering environments from thermal spray systems, filtration products to brazing pastes and hard facing applications.

1956 The company was formed to provide Metal and Plastic Compacts Ltd, another BSA subsidiary, with raw materials.

1960 BSA Metal Powders Ltd was part of BSA[1]

Presumably became part of BSA Metal Components Division when it was formed

1973 January orders at B.S.A. Precision Castings at Redditch, reached a record £100,000 and the order book at B.S.A. Sintered Components was healthy. The smallest company in the division, BSA Metal Powders[2] (presumably).

1976 David Northway, director and general manager BSA Sintered Components, was appointed managing director of the sister company, BSA Metal Powders.[3]

1981 Part of a new company Manganese Bronze (Powder Metal Group) with headquarters at Ipswich.[4]

2005 went into receivership. Bought by the ECKA Group
