Baxter Brothers
1875 Fire. 'This morning the mill of Messrs. Baxter Brothers, Hollinwood, Oldham, was destroyed by fire. The mill has been built for over half a century, although some of the machinery was of a new description. The fire originated through friction at one of the headstocks and rapidly spread throughout the mill. The damage is not known, but it will be very heavy.'[1]
1887 'Park Mills, Hollinwood, recently owned and worked by Messrs. Baxter Bros, are to be re-started by Mr. J. Bowker. J.P., of North Moor Mills'[2]
