1886 Auction of the Cotton Spinning Machinery.[2]

1887 'Park Mills, Hollinwood, recently owned and worked by Messrs. Baxter Bros, are to be re-started by Mr. J. Bowker. J.P., of North Moor Mills'[3]

1891 Joseph Bowker and Co.[4]

1930 Business sold. 'A bid of £1,000 made for the Park Mill Hollinwood at sale auction to-day. The mill belongs to Messrs Joseph Bowker (1929) Ltd and contains 20,000 spindles. Bidding afterwards to £1,600 but as there were no further offers the auctioneer withdrew it. Afterwards he offered the building boilers and engines without the machinery and these were £760 to Middleton firm of carriers. Sixteen cottages belonging mill were sold for and afterwards machinery and contents were sold piecemeal.'[5]
