1908 Dissolution of the Partnership between Fred Beanland and John William Perkin, carrying on business as Engineers Supply Contractors, and Iron, Steel, and Machinery Merchants, at School Close Works, Neville-street, in the city of Leeds, under the style or firm of BEANLAND, PERKIN, AND COMPANY. All the debts due and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by John William Perkin, who will carry on the business for 3 months from the date hereof under the name of J. W. Perkin, late Beanland, Perkin, and Company.[1]

1908 Part of the company became J. W. Perkins, making gas and oil engines.
