1892 In business for himself as representative for R. Waygood and Co of London
Became senior partner Beanland, Perkin and Co
1897 Became an Associate of I Mech E. and an Associate of the Inst Elec. Engineers. He was chairman of Beanlands Ltd of Bradford and Standard Dynamo and Motor Manufacturing Co of Bradford. Living in Harrogate.
