1947 Jointly owned by Micanite and Insulators Co and British Industrial Plastics the business was sale of urea formaldehyde resin adhesives made by BIP which was used in making plywood.

1953 Sale of British Industrial Plastics's Oldbury products was transferred from Beetle Products Co Ltd and Beetle Bond Ltd to the parent company.[3]
