Mr. Benjamin Bailey, of Kingsley House, Darnall, died at Worksop on the 9th inst. T

he late Mr. Bailey was for nearly fifty years connected with Messrs. Spear and Jackson, of Etna Works, Sheffield. During tbo greater part of that time he was in charge of the agricultural and grinding departments.

He has lived at Darnall for nearly thirty-six years, and has seen it rise from a little country village to a prosperous working-class suburb. Mr. Bailey took a great interest in work for the welfare of young people, and was very much respected.
