1871 Isaac Horton 48, pork butcher, lived in Birmingham with Sarah Horton 45, John Horton 18, William Horton 17, Joseph Horton 15, Benjamin Horton 13[2]

1880 A gentleman of Birmingham, when his father died; his brothers, William, was a solicitor and, Joseph, was a provision merchant[3]

1895 A Director of Simpson's Lever Chain and Cycle Co at registration; he and his brother, J. Horton (presumably Joseph Horton), were shareholders in the company, shares purchased from E. T. Hooley[4]

1911 Benjamin Horton 53, lived in Hyde Park Gate, London, on private means with Jennie R Horton 53, and Mother In Law Emma M Roof 81[5]
