Bernard Benson (c1888-1911). Early aviator.

1911. 25th May. Died aged 23 in an air accident at Hendon Aerodrome. [1] He died when he stalled his Valkyrie pusher monoplane while attempting a first gliding descent with the engine off.

He was the third Englishman to die in an air accident after Charles Stewart Rolls and Cecil Grace
