Boston Fishing Group Holdings
1967 Boston Deep Sea Fisheries, one of Britain's 3 largest deep sea trawler operations, was restructured as Boston Fishery Group Holdings (sic); one of its subsidiaries, Saint Andrews Steam Fishing Co, took the name of Boston Deep Sea Fisheries. [1]
1968 The IRC brokered a proposed merger of the 3 large fleets, those of Ross Group, Associated Fisheries and Boston Deep Sea Fisheries[2] but this did not proceed.
1969 Sold Bloctube Controls to Chadburn Holdings and, in exchange, acquired Chadburn Controls[3]. Bloctube Controls specialised in requirements for tugs, trawlers, etc.
