Brest Transporter Bridge

The Pont transbordeur de Brest started life as the Pont transbordeur Bizerte in Tunisia, where it was in operation from 1898 to 1909 (being removed when the harbour mouth was widened}. It was relacated to the Porte Militaire at Brest in 1909. Bombed in 1944 and demolished in 1947. 109m span[1]
