'The British Industrial Corporation (Limited) have been registered with capital £1,000,000 in shares (200 management), to establish or finance companies or associations for the promotion or execution industrial and other undertakings. The first directors are Mr. T. Jowett, Savoy Court, W.C.. director of the Bengal Iron and Steel Company: Mr. N. E. Holder, Park Lane, W., vice-chairman Russian Corporation: Mr. H. Steel, Doncaster, chairman United Steel Companies; Mr, W. T. MacLellan, Mayford, chairman of P. and W. MacLellan (Limited); and. Mr. C. A. Bendix, Savoy Court. W.C., of Messrs. Haes and Sons.'[1]
