1927 Jaeger LeCoultre sold 75 per cent of Ed. Jaeger to S Smith & Sons

1929 Smiths of Cricklewood, London NW2 acquired the British Jaeger Company (presumably Ed. Jaeger).

1931 British Jaeger Instruments, of North Circular Road, London NW2, advertised its products (see advert)

1937 the company name was changed to British Jaeger Instruments Limited.
