1900 The company was registered on 14 September, to acquire the undertaking of the British and African Steam Navigation Co (which was established in 1869), and an additional fleet of steamers from Messrs. Elder Dempster and Co. [1] The capital of the company was £1 million.[2]
1932 Came under the Elder Dempster Lines name. [3]
