1950 Incorporation of Brown Bayley Steels Ltd
1951 Brown Bayley Steels Ltd was nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[5]
1955 Brown Bayley's Steel Works agreed to purchase from the Holding and Realization Agency the whole of the share capital of Brown Bayley Steels Ltd; afterwards, the company's shareholders would be offered the chance to buy shares in Brown Bayley Steels Ltd[6].
1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Alloy and Stainless Steel bars and forgings. [7]
1968 The Brown Bayley parent company, which owned Hoffman and Brown Bayley Steels, was taken over by the Industrial Reorganization Corporation with a view to rationalization of the sectors of roller bearings and alloy steels[8].
1973 Brown, Bayley Steels was acquired by Dunford and Elliott[9]
