1897 On the retirement of William Burrup and John Burrup from Burrup and Sons, F. W. Burrup amalgamated with Gerald J. Mathieson of 4 Angel Court as Burrup and Mathieson[1]

1898 Acquired Stephens, Hayter and Co of 35 Throgmorton Street; closed the Angel Court address and moved to Throgmorton Street[2]

1901 Amalgamated with Mathieson Photo Blocks Ltd

1905 Incorporated as a private limited company.

1910 Described as a stock broker's office[3]

By 1914 the firm was Burrup, Mathieson and Sprague of Throgmorton Street[4]
