1964 Albright and Wilson announced its intention to form Bush Boake Allen to bring together all of the subsidiary companies involved in flavours, essences and perfumes[1]

1966 July 01st. 'IT was announced in London on Monday that Bush Boake Allen Ltd the world's largest manufacturer of flavours and a major supplier of perfumery materials and of pharmaceuticals, insecticides and chemicals will begin operation July 1st. Bush Boake Allen which becomes the largest member of the Albright and Wilson Group arises from the merging of three member companies W. J. Bush and Co Ltd and A. Boake Roberts and Co Ltd'[2] and Stafford Allen and Sons,

1978 Albright and Wilson was acquired by Tenneco of USA

1982 Tenneco sold the company to Union Camp Corporation of USA[3]
