1907 Company became public.

1907 The company was the combination of Thomas Carlyle, Plant, Green and Manton and Harrison and Smith to become the largest maker of buttons in Birmingham at that time.

1914 Machine to manufacture buttons. (Exhibit at Birmingham Thinktank museum)

1914 Button manufacturers. Specialities: buttons, buckles, hooks and eyes, military ornaments and general smallwares. [1]

1950s All three premises closed.

1960 Francis Sumner (Holdings) took control[2]

1961 Manufacturers of buttons, buckles, seat-sticks, "featherwate" sports equipment. [3]
