1930s Company was established as part of the broad move to regroup the gas, water and electricity industries. Other companies formed around this time to do similar groupings were South West Gas and Water Corporation, United Kingdom Gas Corporation; General Gas and Electricity Co was reorganised.[1]

1935 Caledonian Gas Corporation make offer to purchase the business of the West Kilbride Gas Light Co and the directors recommend.[2]

1935 Caledonian Gas Corporation make off to purchase the Fauldhouse Gas Co and the directors recommend it.[3]

1935 Caledonian Gas Corporation make off to purchase the West Calder Gas Co and the directors recommend it.[4]
