1881 Milling Exhibition exhibited a large silk reel of special construction. [1]

1892 Milling Exhibition exhibited 6 of his roller mills. [2]

Upon the death in September 1895 of Mr. Charles Hopkinson, of the Beehive Works, Retford, William John Jenkins began business as a gas engineer at the Beehive Works, under the title of W. J. Jenkins and Co.
