1935 Coastal Radio Limited was incorporated as a private company, with a capital of £500, to carry on the business of manufacturers of and dealers in apparatus for the transmission and reception of radio telephony and telegraphy, and for radio direction finding and depth sounding.[1]

1966 Acquired by Astaron-Bird[2]
