1987 Noble and Lund acquired Bull Electric

1989 Noble and Lund changed its name to Cooks Industries plc. but the company was loss making.[1]

1990 February: Sold Bull Electric; during the 4 years ownership by Cooks, Bull never made a profit.

1990 April: Bioplan Holdings reversed into Cooks Industries[2]; Bioplan was a provider of private healthcare services, especially owning several hospitals; Cooks became a holding company which provided management services to its subsidiary Eurotek, maker of office furniture. It was planned to sell this company eventually[3]
