1963 Formed by John Brown and Co to hold the shares in the various subsidiaries concerned with railway rolling stock and vehicles bodies[1]:

1969 Supplier of containers with facilities in Sheffield and Woodville - Cravens Homalloy (Sheffield) Ltd. was a leader in the UK; also facilities at Preston, Garstang and Rochford. Acquired Taskers of Andover, maker of trailers[2]
