1801 Born the son of Joseph Clark, a farmer.
1821 Entered in to a partnership with Arthur Clothier as tanners, fellmongers and woolstaplers
1825 The partnership was dissolved and Cyrus retained the business except for the tanning part that was the most important at that time
Married Sarah the daughter of John Bull, a glove manufacturer
1826 Birth of son J. Aubery Clark (1826-1890) who became Surveyor, First Clerk to the Street Board
1828 Birth of Alfred S. Clark
1837 Birth of T. Beaven Clark (1837-1920) who took life easy as a 'Gentleman'
1851 Living at High Street, Street (age 50 born Street), Rug and Shoe Manufacturer. With his wife Sarah (age 51 born Somerton) and their children John A, (age 24 born Street), Land Surveyor; Alfred H. (age 22 born Street) and Sarah E. (age 19 born Street). Plus a visitor and two servants. Note: Living in adjoining house to his brother James Clark [1]
