The death has just been announced of Mr. D. Corse Glen, F.G.S., long a member of the Glasgow engineering firm of Glen and Ross, who were known for many years as makers of the "Rigby" steam hammer.
Mr. Glen, who was in his sixty-ninth year, had for several years retired from active business, and was enjoying the fruits of a very successful career as a manufacturing engineer.
He was a native of Renfrewshire, and started as a millwright and engineer under the late Mr. Charles Randolph.
