The company of brothers Alexander and John Dey
1898 Patented a time recorder for recording the arrival and departure times of workers.
c.1900 Became the Dey Time Register Company in Syracuse and later Dey Time Registers in Britain.
The company was acquired by the International Time Recording Company in 1907.
