1946 Henry Hope and Sons formed a joint venture with John Thompson Engineering called Doorframes Ltd to operate a plant ordered from USA before WW2[1].

1961 Manufacturers of metal door frames, lavatory cubicles and tropical doors.

By 1967 was a subsidiary of Crittall-Hope, with a minority interest held by John Thompson[2] which was then sold to Crittall-Hope.
