1956 As part of the sale by the Holding and Realisation Agency of the Briton Ferry Steel Co, The Briton Ferry Steel and Tinplate Agency Limited, London Works (Barlows) Limited, The Neath Steel Sheet and Galvanizing Company Limited, and E. Parkes & Co. Limited ceased to be owned by the state[2]
