1914 September. Formed to take over the business of the Bedminster, Easton, Kingswood and Parkfield Collieries, which was in receivership.

1923 Owners of the Kingswood Colliery, the Parkfield Colliery and the Hanham Colliery (and possibly others).[1]

1933 Alfred H. Bennett is MD.[2]

1938 Appear to be only operating Kingswood and Parkfield collieries with it's Head Office c/o Somerset Collieries Limited of Radstock.[3]

1939 'It was decided to agree provisionally, to purchase from the East Bristol Collieries, Limited. 4.75 acres of land off Feeder Road. The land is at present utilised for recreational purposes, and it is proposed to purchase it for use public open space.'[4]
