1901 The company made mining machinery in particular, but also did other work such as large air compressors and engines. The firm also made a new type of crushing rolls, which Mr. E. D. Chester described at the 1901 International Engineering Congress. The firm occupied new works at Soouth Renfrew which included a foundry and machine shop as well as a separate millhouse.
