1889 Formed Appleton, Burbey and Williamson (dissolved in 1898).
1898-1904 Managing Director Williamson and Joseph .
1898-1905 General business and works manager for Consolidated Electrical Co
1905 Founded Ozonair Ltd
1911 Proposed for membership of I Mech E but no decision was taken on his admission.
1911 Living at 73 Oxford Gardens, North Kensington: Edward Lionel Joseph (age 42 born Gloucester), Electrical Engineer, Managing Director. With various relations and in-laws.[1]
Made numerous Inventions and Patents, all more or less connected with air purification and treatment, ventilation, air conditioning and relevant apparatus.
By 1939 Managing Director, Ozonair Ltd., 1/5 Longmoore Street, London, S.W.1. Also chairman of Adhesive Tapes Ltd
