1949 English Velvet and Cord Dyers Association changed its articles of association and its name to English Velvets[1]

1957 Acquired Farrar Boilerworks.[2]

1957 Parent company changed its name to E. V. Industrials.[3]

1964 English Velvets closed its Ordsall Works in Salford.[4]

1969 Electrical and Industrial Securities placed its subsidiary English Velvets into voluntary liquidation.[5]
